For six wonderful years, Amelia Island Soap & Trading Company was proud to call historic downtown Fernandina Beach home. What started as a small, family-run business became so much more than a little shop.  It became a place where friendships were made, stories were shared, and visitors and locals alike could discover something special.

Nestled in the heart of our beautiful island community, our store was filled with thoughtfully selected soaps, bath and body essentials, fragrances, jewelry, and unique treasures inspired by the relaxed coastal lifestyle we love so much.

But what truly made our little shop special wasn't just what was on the shelves.  It was the people who walked through our doors.

Six Years of Memories and Gratitude

Owning a small business in downtown Fernandina Beach was an incredible experience.  We had the pleasure of welcoming familiar faces, meeting visitors from across the country, helping customers find the perfect gift, and sharing our love for Amelia Island.

We celebrated holidays, enjoyed the excitement of downtown events, watched families return year after year, and built relationships that extended far beyond a simple purchase.

As a family-run business, every customer mattered to us.  Every conversation, kind word, recommendation, and return visit helped make our dream possible.

A New Chapter, With the Same Heart

While our brick-and-mortar storefront has closed, our story is far from over.

After six years downtown, we made the decision to transition Amelia Island Soap & Trading Company into an online soap store.

It was a bittersweet change.  We certainly miss seeing our customers face-to-face and being part of the everyday hustle and bustle of downtown Fernandina Beach.  But we also knew that we weren't ready to say goodbye to the business we had worked so hard to build, or to the customers who had supported us along the way.

We wanted to find a way to keep bringing you the products you love, even without a physical storefront.

And that's exactly what we're doing.

Our online store allows us to continue serving our loyal customers while welcoming new shoppers who may have never had the opportunity to visit us on Amelia Island.

The location may have changed, but our commitment to quality, thoughtful selections, and personal service remains the same.
